Its been so long since I have written anything on my blog. I am just not good at this, but I am going to try. I guess its a little like writing a diary.
In March of 2015, I had a total hip replacement (revision) which put me off the grid for quite a while. In face, I am just getting back into my music now. It may seem sad, but the only thing that really matters to me is my music. It soothes the savage beast and keeps me feeling alive even when I am ready to give up,.
In July of last year, I completed a remix of an old Diana Ross track "Do You Know" with the beautiful and talented Susan Cadogan. Susan was an artist I admired as a child and my dream came true when I was able to actually get into a studio with her and lay down some music. Talk about professional..she made it look so easy. Sigh.
I have tried many "get rich quick" schemes trying to raise the cash to fund my latest album, but I just came to the realization that there is no such thing. It just takes hard work period.
Hopefully over the next few months you can see me grow and we can get some shows going out of this. Hope you continue to follow me in my endeavors to "sing for happiness". Yes I like being paid, but the look on the faces of my audiences is also wonderful.
